Accelerating drainage and relieving residents’ hardship

On 2 October 2026, Mr. Somkiat Khongthim, Chief Executive of Phrom Nimit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, visited the area with staff from Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Regional Center 8 in Kamphaeng Phet, the Tak Fa branch of the Nakhon Sawan Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, and the Nakhon Sawan Irrigation Project. They coordinated pumping water from the Na Bua canal area in Village 9 and the Kaeo Fa community area in Village 6 into the Chai Nat–Pa Sak Canal. The work aimed to accelerate drainage, lower local water levels, and relieve hardship for flood-affected residents in Villages 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Phrom Nimit. Water conditions continued to be monitored and relevant agencies coordinated so that assistance could reach residents promptly.
