On February 7, 2025, the Phrom Nimit Subdistrict Administrative Organization, in collaboration with the Takhli District Officer, local leaders, members of the village council, government officials, teachers, students, and volunteers, organized a "Kick-off" event for a campaign to prevent and address forest fires, smog, and PM2.5 pollution in the village of Nong Ya Rangka and surrounding agricultural areas within the Phrom Nimit Subdistrict. The purpose of the event was to raise public awareness about the importance of prohibiting open burning, as part of the "Stop Burning, Stop Pollution, For You, For Us" project. This involved door-to-door visits, particularly in high-risk areas, to ensure that every household understood the importance of prohibiting open burning.
