Meeting of the Project Steering Committee for the Development of the Khao Bin Dam Reservoir

On January 26, 2024, at 13:30, Mr. Somkiat Khongthim, Chief Executive of the SAOPhrom Nimit, attended a meeting of the project's steering committee for the development of the Khao Bai Dam reservoir. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tawee Sermphakgul, Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province, and also included Mr. Chumphitch Decharat, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province, heads of relevant departments, and other stakeholders. The Khao Bai Dam reservoir development project is a key initiative that the province monitors regularly. The project focuses on water management, agricultural production development, and increasing income, while also reducing expenses, to improve the quality of life for farmers who utilize the reservoir. A five-pronged master plan for the Khao Bai Dam reservoir development project was also presented, including: 1. Improving information systems, 2. Improving infrastructure, 3. Developing livelihoods, 4. Improving quality of life, and 5. Promoting loyalty to the monarchy. Mr. Somkiat Khongthim, Chief Executive of the SAOPhrom Nimit, also presented a large head of cabbage, a product of farmers in the Khao Bai Dam reservoir development project, to Mr. Tawee Sermphakgul, Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province, in the 301 meeting room of the Nakhon Sawan Province Government Office.
